Religion says "Do!"
JESUS says: "Done!"
After Jesus drank he said, “It is finished.”
Then he bowed his head and died.
John 19,30
At the cross Jesus completes God's mercyful plan for mankind and therefore everything is done and finished for you. There is nothing to be added - no rules, no rituals, no traditions, no nothing!
Christ has completed the law.
So now everyone who believes can be right with God.
Romans 10,4
Jesus Christ is the culmination of the law and God gives righteousness to everyone who believes!
Religion sets Rules -
JESUS sets FREE!
For some people this is hard to believe and even harder to live but that does not change a tiny little bit of the fact: "It is finished!"
Believing in God means having a relationship with Him.
It is all about relationship not religion!
