Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, two followers of Jesus, took Him off the cross and buried Him according to Jewish custom. This was a very sad time for Jesus' followers.
We, however do not need to be sad when someone passes away, because Jesus, through His death, has made eternal life a reality for all who believe.
